MAPPA: Risk Assessments for YOTS

The management of serious offenders within YOT has been criticised by external inspections and risk assessment and management processes are not as well developed as in adult probation work.
This seminar will examine some of the themes from the inspection findings and look at the practical issues in using the YJB risk assessment procedures.
Join other YOT managers and practitioners in exploring the developing role of risk management for YOTs and learn from YOTs where practice is beginning to demonstrate good adherence to risk assessment and management principles.
